I think everyone who has played Petz has bred themselves at least one line of PB Dalmatians; I know I have! So while taking a break from some of my more intensive breeding projects I once again decided to delve into the world of Dalis - chasing my pipe dream of a double white eared, few spotted, Dipstick tailed pup. And while Dalmatians are endlessly variable due to their spots, after a time I felt like they needed a little something more to spice em up. At first it was simply a coat change; I really liked the idea of a rough or wire coated Dali, so I decided on crossing them with Poodles for that plushy looking coat. It was only later that I decided to also include Poodle tails as a trait, although that really shouldn't have been a surprise, as they're basically my favorite tail!
A twist on the ever popular Dalmatian, Ruffcoat Dals are short tailed, curly coated, and spotty! Ruffcoats are a Dali and Poodle cross: in the most simple of terms, a Feet=dalmatian; Tail=poodle; Coat=poodle; SCP=dalmatian; Scales=150(dali) |

Athletic and streamlined, Ruffcoats most obviously resemble their Dalmatian Heritage. As such they should have an all Dali body, save for a Poodle tail and Poodle textured Coat. They are to be no smaller/larger then |
All Ruffcoats have white based coats with no other markings save for Dalmatian spots. These spots may be any color except White; with Black and Liver being the most common. Tricolored and spotless, aka completely white, individuals are not accepted (colored ear/s count as spots). |
