Sheplands

Sheplands are the first Selective Breed I started working on when I returned to the Petz scene. It all began by random chance - I bred two grabbag petz together, and out popped a Poodle-eared, Lab-bodied Sheepdog; and I absoloutely needed more of them! I was dabbling with Cargo's Sheepdog Eyefluff OW at the time and I really liked the results, and once I got my hand on some Dalmatian Spot OW files, well, my horizons really expanded! I started work on NIB lines, and in a multitude of colors!

Sheplands are big, fluffy, and fun! They have that loveable Sheepdog personality to go with their looks and size - but there are a few subtle differences! While they mostly resemble Sheepdogs, they are slightly slimmer due to their Labrador bodies, and they have long, satiny Poodle ears. They can have either a full length, plumed tail, or a cute bob! And they'll always have a thick, shaggy coat. And while breeding with Cargo's Sheepie Eyefluff OW isn't a necessity, it is my personal preference with these guys!

Head=sheepdog; Ears=poodle; Body=labrador; Legs=sheepdog;
Feet=sheepdog; Tail=sheepdog; Coat=sheepdog; SCP=sheepdog; Scales=150+

Shape and Size
Sheplands are a large, hearty animal. They should overall have a balanced look when in pose, and should show off both a long back and stout legs. They are to be no smaller, or larger, then 150 scale, and extentions should both be in the positives (0+), with a body longer then their legs.
Variations
At the moment, there are eight (8) different types (variations) that Sheplands can be divided into by coat color/markings. Each type has their own pattern and color guidelines. With such varitey, there is bound to be something for everyone to enjoy!

Classic
White based* + Secondary Coat color. White markings and/or Dane snout patch accepted. If spotted, it's preferred that spot color matches secondary coat color when possible. Ears must be white, or match spot color.

Black
Black based* + Secondary coat color. Must have at least one (1) white marking. Black spots or a Dane snout patch are allowed. Ears must be black.

Solid
Solid coat with at least one (1) White marking. Dane snout patch is allowed. Ears must match coat color.

Freckled
Solid white coat with at least one (1) spot. Colored ears must match spot color. White markings are allowed. If spots are black, a Dane snout Patch is also allowed. (Spotless petz are accepted if at least one(1) colored ear is present from Dalmatian Markings)

Tawny
Must have a Tan and Brown Coat with at least one (1) White marking. Ears may either be Tan or Brown. Only Brown/Liver spots are allowed. If spotted, or if they have at least 1 brown ear, their coat may be fully Tan. (A fully brown coat is allowed if the dog has visible Tan Chi eyebrows, sans a cream chest patch)

Dusky
Must have a Dusty and Black Coat with at least one (1) White marking. Ears may either be Dusty or Black. Only Black spots are allowed. If spotted, or if they have at least one (1) black ear or a Dane snout patch, their coat may be fully Dusty.

Greyscale
White based* with Grey secondary color. Either Black spots, at least one (1) Black ear, or a dane snout patch are required. Ears must be White or Black. White markings are allowed.

Allsorts
Any and all combinations! Plus those that don't fit into any of the above categories.
